Each December, parents and guardians visit our Holiday Store to carefully choose a special gift for each of their children, ages 12 and under. These gifts, handpicked with care, mean so much more than just toys \u2013 they\u2019re symbols of joy, togetherness, and hope. In addition to gifts, families receive a turkey, a bag of groceries, warm winter accessories, and a game or activity to enjoy together, creating precious moments of connection.<\/p>\n

We are seeking NEW toys, games, books, stocking stuffers, art supplies, craft kits, STEM\/STEAM kits, and stuffed animals to stock the Holiday Store. The gifts are for children from infants up to age 12. We respectfully ask for no weapons\/weapon-like toys (i.e. Nerf guns). If you need ideas, we have created an Amazon Gift List of ideas\/suggestions.<\/a> If you would like to host a toy drive\/collection, contact us for more information and to coordinate. To prepare for our big event on Saturday December 21st, we ask that toy donations be shipped to arrive or dropped off at our East Garfield Park location by Wednesday, December 18th. If you plan to collect a large amount of toys and need a pickup, call us as soon as possible to make arrangements.<\/p>\n

We will be setting up for the Holiday Store December 18th-20th, and the event will be on Saturday, December 21st. We are seeking Set-Up Volunteers during the week to help us set up and decorate the gym, sort and organize the toys, and fill grocery bags. Saturday Volunteers will shop with families, staff merchandise tables, wrap gifts, distribute groceries, and assist shoppers to their cars.
